Pie

I made this scene back in January, when I was clearing out the press. This pie was past the expiry date and had some blue mouldy bits on top, not pleasing to look at but the clone brush in Substance Painter helped al lot. The top crust had collapsed and had cracked and the apple filling had kind of blended with the softer pastry, I thought it would be an interesting texturing challenge to recreate with PBR materials. Sugar granules were scattered in 3DSMax and I modelled the tin, knife and a layer of glossy goopy apple sauce for the slice edges. The table cloth was simulated using Polycloth.

(SOUND ON!) The tablecloth reminded me of a vintage American diner, so I treated this clip with some retro effects in CapCut. A RetroPie, if you will :D
