Oily sand

This material was an experiment in using Substance Alchemist to create an oily sand material inspired by the environments in Death Stranding. I scattered a lava rock/ore like model over an uneven surface in Max, the ore was textured in Substance Painter, with bright metal exposed at sharp edges. I then baked textures in Toolbag, enhanced in Alchemist and final adjustments/seam removal in Artomatix. It's a little too glossy in places but it was a useful way to explore Alchemist a little more.
